About HRSS Lunch Breaks

Since 2020, HR Summer School speakers and content have touched the lives of more than 25,000 HR professionals around the world. At the same time, chapter and state-level HR leaders across the US are having trouble:

  • Managing an ongoing virtual event schedule
  • Working with a limited speaker budget
  • Finding educational, interesting, and non-salesy speakers for their events
  • Dealing with HRCI/SHRM recertification credit submissions

And the list goes on!

Volunteer HR leaders have their hands full with local networking and events, so why spend extra time creating a virtual event schedule? HR Summer School Lunch Breaks are essentially an outsourced virtual learning opportunity for HR professionals and groups to share with their members and audiences. And the benefits are compelling:

  • Access high-quality speakers across a range of topics
  • Logistics are handled for you--simply invite your group members to participate
  • We support on-demand access and attendee tracking
  • Our team engages the audience and makes them feel like the valuable members of the community that they truly are
  • Get a minimum of 12 amazing speakers for the same cost that many groups pay for one virtual keynote!

The Development Gap: How to Grow Your Talent and Drive Better Performance

Learning and skill development have always been an important element of how employers support the workforce.
But today, it feels especially critical.
AI is changing what we do, how we do it, and so much more. Every piece of research we've done over the last few years says that employees expect learning and development to be their hedge against AI disruption.
But as I've heard from industry luminaries like Al Dea, Christopher Lind, Julia Veloz, and others, we don't always have the right perspective or approach to prepare our people for this change.
If you're wondering what to do next, then we've got a show for you. 😁😎

On November 13th at 9 am Pacific/Noon Eastern, we'll be hosting our final livestream of 2025, focusing on skill development, employee growth, and how to help our people adapt to the changing world around us. This isn't just to be a warm safety blanket for the workforce--it's to help them be better performers in their work, because that's ultimately the best way to protect them long term.
We have a spot for ONE more partner on this session. Reach out to me for more info. 📞📨

Right now, we're confirmed with the amazing team at ETU (we'll be live with them on site at DevLearn to hear from their CEO on his first year reflections), the passionate crew at WeLearn (looking at you, Sean!), and a whole host of guests to make this a blowout event. 🎉🎉🎉
Because this is hooked into DevLearn, we'll have virtual AND onsite components that will make this engaging, memorable, and fun. But as usual, we'll wrap up the session with insights from some of our research on learning and the workforce.

If you want to attend, register at the link in the comments below to be eligible for recertification credits, hundreds of dollars in prize giveaways (yes, really!), and early access to our research on this topic. We can't wait to see you there!
